Lisa_Wu_Hartwell_Real_housewives_of_atlanta_2

According to TMZ Lisa Wu-Hartwell and her husband, former Oakland Raiders linebacker Edgerton Hartwell, were booted from their multi-million dollar Georgia mansion last week — after the couple defaulted on their loan and the bank sold it shortly after.

Hartwell’s rep tells us the couple was in talks with the lender to restructure the loan because the home had lost value — but that failed. They originally bought the place for $2.9 mil back in 2007 — but the bank only got $1.9 mil when they resold it this month.

The rep says “Ed and Lisa are fine. They have settled in their [new] home, that sits on 10 acres and they OWN it!”

I thought these “Housewives” were supposed to BIG TYME in ATL. Why are they all getting thrown out of there houses? Were they just FRONTIN? *shrug*

The 50 Most Badass Moments In Sports History

Friday, August 7th, 2009

SPORTHIS6

There are sports moments that make us cheer, ones that leave us speechless, and even ones that make us cry (a little). But it takes a special kind of athletic feat to make us stand up and say: “That’s badass.” Now “badass” comes in all shapes and sizes, both good and bad, but you know it when you see it: achieving victory in the face of odds that would make a normal man quiver in his pantaloons, risking your career to say what you feel (or just punch the guy who’s been pissing you off all game), playing through injury and dragging the comp, or even doing psychedelic drugs and still playing like a boss.

Love ‘em or hate ‘em, but never doubt ‘em: sports badasses are why we’re watching the games in the first place. Listen folks, these ain’t your old man’s greatest sports moments. These are Complex’s 50 Most Badass Moments In Sports History

THE JOKE’S ON WHO?

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

article-1204213-05f20cc3000005dc-96_468x675

I’m not the biggest believer in the government or “politricks,” but Obama has definetly raised my interest level. Sorta like the Williams sisters with tennis or Tiger with golf.  Since Obama has been running and now elected to the office of president, I’ve done research on the terms “communism” and “socialism” because of the rhetoric that has been used to attack his agenda. I guess this is another example…

This Obama-as-Joker poster, which has appeared on utility poles in Los Angeles and throughout the Internet, has enraged Democrats and bloggers, some of whom have blasted it as racist.

During his Tuesday broadcast, Rush Limbaugh declared there’s nothing racist about the poster. But he went further, comparing Ledger’s Joker, one of the most evil villains in movie history, to the current president of the United States. Yes, he did. Nothing implied, nothing insinuated. Here’s he said:

[The Joker] had a big damn chip on his shoulder about his childhood and about a bunch of other things. His goal was to undermine the whole system. . . . And to effect the change that the people of Gotham City didn’t want, the Joker created chaos upon chaos. The whole city was focused on him and what he was going to do next. He viewed crisis as an opportunity. So the Joker orchestrated crisis after crisis after crisis. And the Joker wore a mask. I mean whoever put this poster together is pretty smart because there are some similarities here to what the Joker did in that movie and what Obama is doing to this country.

Limbaugh claimed that Obama and the Joker share a fundamental trait:
Obama has admitted to wearing masks. In “Dreams from My Father”: (paraphrasing) “It was usually an effective tactic, another one of those tricks I had learned. People were satisfied so long as you were courteous and smiled and made no sudden moves. They were more than satisfied; they were relieved, such a pleasant surprise to find a well mannered young black man who didn’t seem angry all the time.” This is his tactic for fooling white people. This is the mask.
